Kirk is our showroom sales manager here at the Durham location. He has been in the lighting industry for many years, and has a professional knowledge of retail and sales. His passion is interacting with people, building relationships, and making an enjoyable experience for each customer he attends to. Kirk’s hobbies include reading, spending time in nature, eating good foods and learning new things. Also, he loves spending time with his daughter, Cora. Kirk will happily guide you through your entire lighting project, from start to finish, to ensure a successful outcome.
Owners - Rod Chandler & Jay Chandler
The two brothers took ownership of the business in the 90’s, after their father, Jack L. Chandler founded the business in 1971. They have owned and worked the business since then, putting in the hours to ensure smooth operation daily. Both enjoy working with cars and combined have over 60 years of knowledge about the lighting world.
Rod is an avid reader and enjoys spending time with family and friends. Jay enjoys working outdoors with his wife Susan Chandler, and landscaping. Together the two are training Rod’s three kids, Kirk, Sydney & Max to take over and continue the family owned and operated business.

Rebecca Chandler
Rebecca has been with the company 15 years and she is located at the Garner location. She manages the warehouse and helps clients with the perfect light for every need as well!
Rebecca is the wife of Rod Chandler, and the two work the Garner store every day. She enjoys gardening, photography, and her spending time with kittens. She is more than happy to supply customers with the perfect light/ceiling fan for any project!
